I can’t get over how amazing these mushrooms are. I’d go make another batch right now if I had any more mushrooms in the house. (Honestly, I’m even half considering driving back to the store to pick more up.)

I’ll tamp down my mushroom craving just long enough to give you the recipe, but after that, all bets are off!

Here’s what you’ll need to make this awesome dinner:

For the steak and shrimp: buy a large enough steak and enough shrimp to feed the number of people at your dinner table. For this recipe, you don’t need specific amounts of these two ingredients. For dinner at my house, this was a 1.25lb steak and about 0.5lb shrimp, because I’m the only one who eats fish around here.

For the steak, sprinkle kosher salt on each side and place on a broiling pan.

Broil for a few minutes each side until desired doneness.

For the shrimp, melt a little coconut oil or butter in a pan along with 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed and chopped. Add the raw shrimp and a pinch of salt. Stir fry for a few minutes until cooked through.
